What's your MPG?

My mpg on my first Uly was in the low 40's, which is where my current Uly started. After 13K miles, on recent trips (mostly in the windy hilly Ozarks) my mpg increased to 50 plus (still 40mpg around town). I know ads had these bikes getting as much as 60. Anybody doing that well? My son said his XB sport bike also increased to 50mpg after 14K miles.

48 on hwy going about 90 mph from San Diego to Fresno. After a fill up I went 179.9 miles and when I filled up I put in 3.7 gallons. Close call with a 3.8 gallon tank!

I average mid 50's. Playing around I get high 40's low 50's and when I behave I get high 50's low 60's.

Jeez! I dont think I have ever seen that low on my 1125. Driving conservatively I get around 43 hwy 37 city.... not so conservatively 37 hwy, 30 city

I get around low 40s, mostly commuting, sometimes in heavy traffic. 09 XB12 with 7k miles

I got 40 on the dot most fill ups with just the Jardine (Usually around 120 miles and I put 3 gallons in). xb12s. Now I went back to the stock exhaust and flashed stock maps and it's down to about 30 MPG...

I've only had my XB9s for 6 days. My MPG has been:

1) 51 - riding mildly conservative
2) 48 - riding normal
3) 48 - riding normal
4) 42 - riding like I stole it

My old bike (M2 Cyclone)seemed to get 45 no matter how I rode it....

2007 Uly here. just returned from an overniter trip last weekend to the big hills of northern PA. hawk muffler, race map installed on stock ecm, synthetic oil, mixture of 80 miles freeway at 70mph, rest all backroads, i ride like a pussy and pamper the bike. total of 610 miles on 10.6 gallons.....57.547169mpg. so take that, damn it!

I usually average around 45 with my xb9. My best was 65mpg on a trip that was before the gas light came on filled it up cause i got nervous watching the mileage and not many gas stations around. jardine an race ecm

My 06 Uly gets low-mid 40s, and that's with very conservative throttle. I'm guessing the combination of all 3 hard bags (sides and top) along with a Jardine pipe and EBR ECM contribute to the low mpg. My 05 Lightning gets closer to 50mpg - less drag obviously.

Either way, I miss the mid-high 50s mpg I used to get on my SV650. Then again, my first bike (EX500) probably got somewhere in the 60s (?). Of course, back in the 90s we didn't pay much attention to gas mileage. LOL

1125R used to get 35 now gets 33 with CR gearing

XB12Scg gets 48

S1W gets 40 but its moded big bore 1250 kit cams and head work and is probably going to get worse with the xb 65 tooth rear pulley [smirk]
