Question i have for all of you that know more about Buells than I. Im in the process of powder coating my wheels and need to know if anyone knows the color the gold is. I buy my powder from Prismatic. I ordered some sample but they were not close. I did however get a sweet color that i might get instead. What do you guys think. Link below to the color.

The blue anodized looks very close from what I've seen.....they don't offer a gold anodized I presume?

Lollypop red and Bentley blue are almost a perfect match to the factory colors. Prismatic has like 27 pages of gold, you can order up to 5 free sample at a time guess ill keep trying.

Yes...I've been leisurely looking into different colors myself. Like I say, some guys posted some blue wheels on here that look SUPER close to the OE anodized color. That gold on the Buell looks VERY much like a Crane Gold Series anodized rocker arm.....so that's why I'd mentioned that. I bet they DO have something if you keep searching and MAYBE someone has used them before to try to match as well!! Good Luck! :)

It's additictive looking at all the colors huh? Lol. They offer anodized gold. Try it over some different base colors on scrap. Depends how much you want to fart around with it. Those transparent colors really look different over different base coats.

The color you posted is cool. What color is your bike? Might look cool on a black bike?

Thanks thumpin that's is just what I'm looking for. Deal with prismatic a lot should be a easy deal now. Although stripping has been a chore started with a bead blast then moved to a chorcol abrasive. Neither worked so now doing a chem strip and seems to be better but still along ways there seems to be a silver coating below that too. I want to say that it's like a plasti coat instead of powder coat because it seems elastic. [mad]
