Got me the STT a few months ago. I can't still get on with the bike.
It's is equipped with Titan Jardine silencer, EBR Racing ECM and K&N filter.
She is really hard to drive in trafic and in round abouts. Feels that she is not running lean.

So I took her to a dyna bench yesterday and here is the charts:

According shall the bike have 103 Bhp in the shaft. -20% should the bike have 82-83 bhp on the rear wheel.

In consideration with the silencer should the bike deliver 90-95 BHP.

But it seems that I only get around 83bhp!!

Where have the horse gone?

It seems that the Race ECM are running lean on low rpm. That may explain why its so hard to run the bike at slow speed.

I guess that I need to tune the ECM map. Will try to understand how ECM spy works. Still have not got the SW to work on my notebook..

What's are you experience?
How much should I get on an optimized ECM map - bhp/torqe?
Is jardine just piece of junk -just loud?
Will the original silencer give more, with the exhaust valve?

Please share..!
[confused]

I can't help much other than if you have the ebr ecm don't go messing with it with the spy cable. I'm sure someone will chime in for you.

You need to have a baseline run on _your_ bike done in all stock trim, ie; put it totally back to stock and then run it on the same dyno. Then do the mods and see what the improvement or reduction in power is. The typical US xb12 should be at around 85 hp and 70 ft/lbs torque at the wheel in stock trim. Obviously there will be some higher and some lower than those numbers, but overall, it will be close to that. It may just be that dyno giving an off reading, could be any number of things.

need help to get started with ECMspy!!![confused]

I donated the €50 to the fond via paypal.
Got the confirmation to donwload the DB update.
Did that... but still can't unlock the software.

What am I doing wrong?

Would be great if anyone could share..
