Hahahaha. It doesn't make any sense. I just went for a ride. Well, please find the log below:

Almost no issue AT ALL. Went almost to 6k rpm without cuts - except for just one time, at the end of the trip and with a backfire (but not as strong as the one of yesterday). Now I am wondering: yesterday, the bike was warm because of the TPS set. This morning, it was cold. Could that have an influence? I couldn't stay out much longer (work to do unfortunately) but I am wondering if this could be a lead.
You will notice the AFV keeps getting higher, now at 121.4.
EDIT: just saw your reply above! - no I didn't, the previous owner did put the exhaust and air filter but told me he didn't touch the ECM. So it has to be the guy before him that played around with the maps?
