where can I buy more torx body scews?

After removing and re-installing some of the body I have stripped a couple screws and need to replace them. They are the torx 27 that come with the plastic washer.

i bought a few from the dealer but would like to find another solution as they were a little pricey. can't remember how much exactly but i thought at first they overcharged me.

They are 1/4-20 with a t27 torx head.

I wasn't able to find them in a shoulder screw at McMaster. They need to have the shoulder on them to keep from flattening out your plastics.

Good call Buellysses, I forgot that they're Button-head Shoulder screws. Probably won't find those anywhere but the dealer. [smirk]

Yeah, just make sure you bring a tube of Vaseline with you when you go pick them up from the dealer...

Last time I bought them I was walking funny for about a week.

<side note>
I used to work at the Elmhurst (Chicago) branch of McMaster. It's a pretty impressive operation. My department moved about 10,000 boxes of stuff per day.

It's amazing now they can get you what you ordered in a day or two from anywhere in the country.
