Which 2ct tires to go with??

Dave - I've read that the road 2ct's use a harder compound than the power 2ct's, but I can't find the article now. I couldn't find those bridgestones...they use 3 different rubber compounds in each tire?

Nikko - The power 2ct's only have the softer compound in the last inch or so toward the edge of the tire, so unless you are really leaning it over and using every bit of your tire it's pointless to get the 2ct...just get the regular powers and save some money. The road 2ct's have the harder compound in the center 20% of the tire...40% on each side has the softer compound, so you gain a benefit from normal cornering. Visit the michelin website, they give you examples of the compound set up for each tire.

I had the road 2ct's mounted about a month ago. I went from the stock dunlops so the improvement seemed huge to me. Very happy with these tires so far. No traction issues at all and that's in 30-40 degree weather. Turn in feels great. I did go up to a 190 in the rear and have no regrets about that either.

I just got back to my computer and was going to search up the image deltaone posted.
I am on my second set of pure power's and if anyone is wondering how they perform on the track it is unbelivable. My track day instructor from my track day at gratten was super impressed at my exit speeds.
I was pulling away from her full race prepped 600 with my 1125r.

Thanks for the extra flood of info everyone. Ended up calling them back and changing to the basic pilot power single compound. Saved 24 bucks which can go towards mounting and balancing one of them :D

Love u guys [up]
