Curious to what brake pads and rotors you guys use. I like the stock rotors, but I'm in need of a new front rotor and new pads. Pads Ive used so far were the ebc hh pads and havent been fond of them. So please, fill me in on which ones to get.

I have been using Pyramid parts sintered brake, on all my bikes. Work very well, especially for the $$$.

Ebc hh on the rear and dunlopad's on the front. Ztl 2 system. I used all ebc hh on my fire bolt. I liked them well enough I suppose. I'm not sure if dunlopad has an off the shelf offering for the ztl 1 system.

Just picked up a set of extreme pro ebc hh pads. Very happy with them over the traditional hh pads

I use Galfer 1375 HH pads on my Uly and my Triumph Daytona. They work great in all conditions. I use the Galfer Green on my Honda Hawk..great feel, not so good in the wet.

Think i'll replace the rotor with a stock unit (Dont feel like spending $$$ on an ebr rotor) and try ebc's hh extreme pads. Anyone know where to get the small springs/hardware for the rear pads at?

Ask yourself, why are you replacing the rotor? If it is because the OEM rotor got warped, you might want to consider an upgrade. On ASB, the scalloped front rotor is actually cheaper ($295) than the OEM unit, and it is more robust. The EBR rotor is about the same price ($327) as the OEM unit and it is also more robust: http://americansportbike.com/newdir...s=catshow&ref=XB12Ssbrakes&count=30&offset=30

When changing the rotor, always install new mounting hardware!!! http://americansportbike.com/newdir/Item/A9063

Don't order from twinmotorcycles.nl directly, because shipping and handling from the Netherlands is pricy and due to that reason they have a no refund, no exchange, no return policy. If you are interested in their Braking rotor for $275 I would order from 50dro, he sells and ships form the US and deals with twinmotorcycles in a business capacity and will provide customer service to you if you need it.

PS when replacing pads, you should be able to reuse OEM hardware to mount the pads, unless its damaged or missing.

Lyndal Racing Pads, XB 9R or XB !2 R / or lighting or such do a good job also and stopping power on the Track or Everyday Riding will work well.
somewhat better that any stock Pads. Jimi*:D
