White wire mod messed it up! I think?

Yeah. I've got iron machine 8mm plug wires and ngk heat range 8 plugs comin to me.

Ok. I followed Dave's DIY video. Still the same thing. I took a video and I posted to YouTube. They are processing it now. It should be up tomorrow. The title is Buell xb9sl dying. Stock ECM's...'Race ECM' already is deleted in the map. It's a point in the map based on MPH/RPM that retards the timing to help meet the EPA noise standards. 3400(?) RPM I believe? The white wire takes away the speed sensor signal I believe. It supposedly causes a sag in the torque curve at that point...I did it and didnt really "feel" a difference. Some guys differ on that opinion, but...!

Some people have reported issues with the NGK 8's. The DCPR9EIX is the correct plug though the 8 does work fine for a few.

White wire mod is for 9's only. Not sure about domestic/foreign.

Yep, 2003-2007 EU 9 motors was the info I was told after I picked up my 05 9SX. I may have been fed bad info, lot of opinions out there.

Was definatly done here in the States for EPA compliance...solely for that reason.

Also before I did this mod. The bike was running good except for the exhaust leak.
