OK so I'm always seeing good and bad feedback about the jardine rt-1 pipe..... I personally like mine on my xb9s and think it sounds good performs well. I am running slightly modified race maps and I am working on tuning it.

There are numerous threads about jardine losing torque down low and the torque fix mod but personally I feel though it runs better then the buell race pipe that was on it.

I don't mind packing it every so often as I do like to tinker a lot. Just wondering how some of you feel about this pipe and if there is some power that I'm leaving on the table......

I personally wish my buell sounded like the fat boy that my buddy at work has but I'm starting to think it never ever will.

Have an rt-1 on my xb9r. Sounds great and I don't notice loss of power...I only go 55..

Love the sound, throaty and loud, not too obnoxious. Also-I run stock ECM, plus a K&N but no open air box.

For $265 bucks brand new--can't beat it.

That's what I mean Idk where people say it loses torque.....

Maybe with a stock tune....

I also have the open air box and a vented tank so I'm sure that helps some.....

If I can keep up with a r6 and a ducati hypermotard..... the jardine must be doing something...... plus it sounds way better then both those bikes......

I rode with a guy that had an r6 and he said he had to really stay hard on the bike to keep up with me

Not on back country roads we aren't......

Straight stretch dead stop ........ the new hypermotard stayed about even...... the r6 I had 3 to 4 bike lengths on....

Personally I love my rt-1 on my xb9. They make better power on the 9's than they do the 12's it seems. On the R6 topic, he should be driving around you by the top of 3rd gear, and blowing you away. They are just plain and simple faster than our bikes. Not even an arguable topic.

I have the GP1... Just repacked mine and repainted it... Looks and sounds really good to me... But I'm the only buell for like, Meeeellions of miles as far as I know... So I've only heard this one in person...

I have the RT1 with titanium cannister and upgraded packing. I love it. It is loud, but not nearly as loud as the D&D. Coupled with the EBR custom tune I have, it is straight nasty as well. Definitely no loss of power anywhere nor any dead spots now.

The hate on the Jardine is typically by lazy people. I'm from the dirtbike world, so I am used to repacking exhausts. Cannister exhausts like this require maintenace. Do the maintenance, and they last.

That being the said, the Jardine chin fairing brackets can fuck themselves.

I finally got my Jardine RT-1 Titanium. I put it under mine xb9sx! All I can say is: I LOVE IT!! Still have to do a tune with the ECM but without it, it runs fine too. The sound is great and its a huge weight saver! Only thing that it does is popping... But I read with a proper tune it will stop! Other than that it is a great pipe! But the install instuctions sucks hahaha
