There were so many active members that it was hard to complete some of the challenges before someone else. It was not without its drama as you can tell by the thread being locked.

There were monthly giveaways with free swag from site sponsors.

The site changed a lot when the formatting changed but ultimately I blame the facebook group. What a cesspool of bad information and easy to find information that is. The demise of the brand didnt help either I guess.

I totally agree with you about FB, but it's a format most people already have and understand so it's easy to use for them. But wow, I've never seen so many sophomoric, backstabbing, divided groups in my life! No thanks... I'll stay cozy in here, where we all dislike one guy at a time:angel:

Was that the one you started in December? Living in Michigan makes that tough for me, but there isn't as much traffic to make the picture challenge fun anyway. I applaud the effort though.

Yea that was a bummer for me as well. I had a lot of snips from the manual that I used to help people in there. Most of my own photos I had backups of. The real loss was all the buell porn pics lol. Even though the thread was deleted a lot of the users that posted pics had them in their picture uploads.
