Who wears full leathers?

I'm essentially ATGATT. Helmet and gloves 100%. Can't work without hands or head. Jacket 99%, boots 99%. The longer I've been riding, the more I've come to value impact protection in addition to abrasion protection. Back protector in every jacket. Leather pants with the leather jacket, textile with textile. The exception is that I have a pair of Draggin' Jeans that I'll wear with a jacket when we ride to bike night. Anything less tame than that and it's the whole shebang.

coool comments all of ya guys or gals... few things ya all might forget about full gears... how about leather underwear for men and panties / bras for women for more extra protects?[confused] lol i only kidding ya !!! but good things ya all got sme gears for ur safety ride!!!![up][up][up]

Leather or textile jacket.. gloves, leather shoes tied up.. helmet of course. Only wear the pants when i know its gonna rain.. or track days.

Naked riding is cool...I just hate it when my nuts start flappin behind me during high speed 710mph pulls. I'm sure Jobe Zeebuh knows what I'm talking about.

You can jobe can work on a new project together.. being nude riders and all..

you should install some vents on your hammocks.

=)

I usually check my calender and if I don't have a crash scheduled that day I just wear jeans and a tshirt. Today I checked and I didn't have a break down or a crash scheduled so I took out the tool kit and rode with just my Buell beanie. Rest of the time I wear Joe Rockey pants and jacket. A* gloves A* SMX5 boots, and a Shoei RF1000.

I have bad luck with that. My calendar says I have a crash scheduled every day.

I always wear my gear and as a add measure because the cagers and nature have me scheduled everyday too for a crash, so I ask god to please rescedule it for a much, much, much later day before I ride anywhere!! seriously I do !! I just say it a different way though to him!!

I still need leather riding pants for this season!!
thinking of getting the Icon-Mens-Automag-Leather-overPants or the Icon-Overlord-Prime-Leather-Pants-Mens or maybe Joe-Rocket-Blaster-2-0-Mens-Leather-Pants... any other recomendations!?

Its all about riding safe. I dont think full gear is appropriate for anywhere but the track. I mean if a cop see's you riding around in full leathers they are more than likely gonna think you drive north of the speed limit most of the time. I think safe riding habits and skills are more usefull than wearing leather plumm smugglers riding around your neighborhood, haha. I understand IF you go down, they will protect your skin from road rash. Road rash will be the least of my worries if someone pulls out in front of me!! I mean, what is a leather oneZ do for you if you ran into some one,the answer is not alot. The only gear I NEVER EVER ride without is my helmet, and gloves for when im going farther than to the gas station for cigarettes. The only shorts iv'e ever worn on my bike were jean shorts and they were heavy and long. I really dont like people who were shorts and sandals, but you know what, WHO THE HELL AM I TO TELL SOMEONE WHAT TO WHERE, EVER!!!!!!????? FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT TO KEEP FREEDOM LEGAL PEOPLE!!!!!! One piece Dainese full race suit, Alpine stars boots, HJC full face and armoured gloves. Every time, every ride. Been down at around 60mph at the track and walked away with no prob. I NEVER ride without my gear. Wayne

I've got the Tour Master Tex suit for commuting.
A* suit for track days.
And way too many other options for wherever else we might be riding too.
I do have a pair of the Icon Leather over pants, worn them a few times, they aren't what I was expecting.
Its good quality leather but just too baggy to be very useful.

And a collection of gloves, boots n helmets.

Favorite right now is the tex suit, easy on, easy off, good for all but 90* days and tons of pockets.

I was riding and came across this accident, told border patrol i was an emt and asked if i could help. i was the first person to assess the rider. i can promise he was glad he was wearing a one piece and motocycle boots, NOT a steel toe boot or ICON riding jeans.

the car out of nowhere made a u turn, could happen to anyone anywhere.

spend the money, buy the suit and save your skin.

i've gone down at highway speeds and did the tumble of death with just shorts and a t-shirt. My suomy helmet saved my life and my face, but my body was torn up good. Flesh on pavement just doesnt do well let me tell you.
