Mad Max was repoed from the previous owner and sold to a bike shop that was gonna chop it. The owner got too busy and put it up for sale, which is where I came in. Sorry, don't have any better pics, but if you like train wrecks you can see what I've done so far, enjoy...

Honestly who could do that to a bike?!?!? The person had basic knowledge but how did he treat it so bad and expect it to fun for long.
hogluvr, if i was you, I would strip the whole thing down and do a rebuild. If the outside looks that bad, i cant imagine what the inside lookss like

Haha.. i know, I'm just messing with ya. It looks like you're making good progress. How are you stripping the old paint? Any idea why it was painted 3 different colors?

Dude, there are parts of this bike that were painted 7 different colors!! Just figured the PO was nuts! [confused]

I'm using acetone and laquer thinner to get the paint off, it's been a long, slow process...
