see those are the people who don't ride bike. they dont realise that you can do most of those speeds safely on motorcycles. well the ones under 100

Ha... I love going up to the north GA mountains... But I've only ever gone up with my car club.

I do have to agree with what the newscasters were saying though about the sport bikes running up there. They were not joking about people passing cars at double yellow lines going into blind corners.

It does not matter how comfortable you are on a bike going 100mph passing into a blind corner if there is a car or truck driver doing the exact same thing going the opposite direction...

I will admit though, there are guys in my car club that will hit 100mph on those roads too, so it's not just the motorcycles.

I'm reminded of some pics my sister sent me about a year ago. A sport bike hit a mini van full of youngsters...everybody died. Thats probably what its gonna take before action is taken against careless bikers on those mountain rodes.
