Why is ECMspy trying to kill me?

Thats almost exactly what my map looks like except my numbers are all closer to 250. This was after 4-5 datalogging sessions starting with the stock 07 race map.

wow, your numbers are way higher. The race map barely looks different from my stock map at all. Can you tell a noticeable difference when you look at your stock and race map?

your bike is an xb12 right? Maybe that's why. It sucks more gas and air in compared to mine anyway.

Can any of you guys with xb9s post up pictures of what your race maps look like??

Willie, yours looks pretty much just like the last picture I posted of my race map. Did you notice a big difference in power when you loaded it??

You might notice some difference. It is overall better for your motor as it won't be running as lean. If you want to see noticeable gains a custom tune is needed.

I burned the maps at the same time as I installed the Hawk, and as Dallas said; I did it for the health of the motor.
I couldn't really say about top end, but I did notice an improvement on the bottom.

I didn't get a stock map with my bike.. the guy I bought it off of had a real crap custom tune already on it.. I noticed a huge difference compared to the map that was on it when I bought it. Yea mine is a 12 and has the D&D and K&N. Going to get it dyno'd again when I get it inspected this year. I'm curious to see what it says this time after having a good tune now..

I'm not looking for a huge gain in power, but I felt like I should at least be able to feel the slightest difference in the power, just so I could at least tell it was working. Even if I couldn't feel a power difference I was at least hoping the decel pop would be reduced.

Willie, did you notice that improvement in the bottom end immediately, or does it take a few miles for the bike to recognize and adjust?

I noticed an immediate improvement from 1800-2500 RPM. I headed straight to the freeway for the learning run, then it was really strong from 3500-5000. Above 5000, it has always made more power than this old man needs.

I dont know who did it but there is a bunch of weird maps floating around on the net.
as you see you got one of those. I think they were intended to break ecms by someone.

I have got quite a few emails saying they got this map from a online source can you check it for me.
I find very weird values.

The culprit either did it on purpose or is trying to use Tunerpro not knowing the file type to use. Tunerpro does not use the txt file. that will make a wild mess of things. it uses a xpr, bin,or epr file only.

you need the msq bridge to make the msq for MLV. I have a new one to upload. You also need.

The adx can be added to very easy. Gunter and I both offer these. I suggest you go on the Tunerpro site and study a little on how to add in history tables and ego history. that tells you everything in a datalog on how to adjust the bikes fuel.

I also posted online how to clear codes and ect. this spring when time premits I'll add the clear codes and other stuff to the Tunerpro so you dont have to learn it. but its good to know how to do it. I also have an Email out to Phil Tobin at MLV to see if he has the latest log file to see what all we have now. and if he can add in the new names tpo match the logs for easy setup.
