Just curious as to why for a large part, the race map is leaner than the stock map? It seems counter intuitive to me that stock would have more fueling... anybody know?

Stock on Left, Race on Right

Lean makes power the race timing map is likely more aggressive aswell .
To much fuel as just as bad ass to little.

because the p&a kit is a p.o.s, dropping ve heavily in mid rpm for a very small gain at top rpm, so small that it doesn't even require more fuel. but most people think they gain more, because of the flat spot in the middle. should better learn how to use a dyno.

the usual bullshit from the experts on this forum.

Please ich, try to add your input without being so blatantly offensive. No one here is claiming to be an absolute know-it-all. In fact, the last few users who pretended to be the god of anything were run off the board. We're all just figuring our way through things.

Your advice and guidance is always appreciated. You're clearly knowledgeable. I would just ask that you provide it in such a way that's constructive and might actually help people. Most of us are open to new information.

If the fuel map has lower fuel values then the afv will go up from O2 sensor feedback.

It's not necessarily leaner.

Coming from cars and using hp tuners, how do you know when you have too much timing on a buell? What does it use to pick up knock, or does it?
