This thread is kinda old... The info is out there just do a little searching like you did to find this 3 year old thread.

I made the mistake of putting a 190 on my scg.,thinking a good idea for a little more ground clearence,WRONG.I agree w/ the others that said negative effect on handleing. The 5.5 inch rim spreads the 180 out perfectly ,giving just enough drop in and wide stable contact patch. The 190 is more suited for a 6 inch rim,and is deformed on the 5.5 as its pinched. The result is too much drop in and less traction when you get it leaned over.It changes the ratio about 1 mile an hour at cruseing speed and is hardly noticeable.

Yes you can fit a 190 on the back of your bike. The SCG however was built to be a cornering beast, so why?

For cornering, stick with a 180. Not sure how many different ways it could have been said in this thread. For looks, go bigger if you want, but know that at the extreme limits of the bike, your going into a danger zone, and risk hurting yourself.

I have a 190 now, and some big ssa chicken strips prob a 1/2" - 3/4" :)

I didnt it mainly to make my oscar mayer bigger, and because my buddy put a GSXR wheel with a 180 on his sv650 so I had to one up him.

A 180 or 190 tire will be better overall for handling. Granted the 200 looks cool, I like a big tire, it will require more steering effort, have slower steering and add more weight than a 180 rear tire. Given the emphasis on handling and such that Buell put into these bikes, if that were a better option it most likely would have come with it.
