WILL A TRANSLUCENT AIR BOX COVER FIT ON THE 2004 LIGHTNING XB12S?! PLEASE HELP!

Just bought the bike and i really want to put the valencia orange covers on, will they fit straight out of the box? tried asking people at the harley dealership and were no help at all. also im ordering from buell parts.net does anyone know if they are reliable?

alright guys, around the same time i posted this i emailed buell parts asking them the same question, and they said that the translucent airbox cover is made for 06 and later models and wont fit.

WHAT IS THIS DISCREPANCY !?!??!?!?!?

i know that the clear airboxes have that vent in front because of the way it intakes air. but does that cause it not to fit on the bike?

No, they mislead you. All of the air boxes will fit from 2003 to 2010.
