hello all

i'm looking at buying a 2006 xb12Scg I haven't had a chance to sit on one yet. just wondering if it will fir me i'm 5'5" with a 30in in seam.

i tried doing a search but couldn't find what i was looking for.

just like to know people that ride them that are my hight, how does it fit them?

thanks

It will be just fine I'm 5'10" but with a 30" inseam too and I can flat foot my Scg and now I even have change the seat for the regular S seat and I doing perfect, ok I'm not flat footing both feet anymore but I'm still plenty stable.

cool thank for your respons

ya they look low from picture's i seen but i gess i will find out when i go see it.

just like to have some advise from other to make a little better desision.

but by the sounds of it it wil be fine i hope.

i really like the buells.

mate i ride a xb12ss long and im bout 5'6, no worries at all. once ya feet are on the pegs and ya movin its all sweet. :D

Would rather look small on a bike than stupid. I am 6'3" and a little afraid of how I am going to look on my XB12s. Hopefully not clownish

I am 5'9" w/ 32" inseam and love my XB12Ss long, also. I cannot flat-foot it, so walking it backwards uphill is not very easy, but how often is that really needed.

My height/inseam seems to be in the middle of the 2 models. I could flat-foot the Scg, but it felt a little cramped to me once riding for a while and I wanted the longer wheel base and more suspension travel of the Ss. That's just the bike that fit my personal riding style preferences.

If the Scg is what you like, I think it would fit you well.

It will be a perfect fit. I'm about 5'7" and I ride a lightning xb12s. I get both feet on the ground at stop, so the sg should be a great fit for you.

Well you will probably get some comment but who cares if you like the bike and your happy with it. I'm 5'10" and 220lbs and I'm often told that I dwarf my bike lol

I think you'll adapt just fine, I'm 5'7" and have the padded seat on my firebolt. I usually put one foot on the ground and one on the rear brake at A stop. Walking it around is not so easy, but not A major issue.

Wish I could tell you, I dont have my bike yet and I sent Haulbikes.com my contract on March 19th. Funny because Denver does not seem like too remote of a location to deliver to.

I just got my 08 scg and i love it! im 6'2 170 lbs and i feel more comfortable on my scg than a zxr1000! plus i love the fact that people pull up and ask'' is that a 300?'' haha they dont beleive its a 1203

I am fine at 5'6 on my xb12Ss, but I would love to try a scg... I think you just know when you sit and ride on a bike whether it is right. I love the look of the harley nightster, really wanted to like it, but it was just wrong as soon as I sat on one at the dealer.
