have the battery load tested, while trying to start check for voltage at the starter wires both should have 12 volts.try switching starter relay for another.the start switches have problems with the contacts getting corroded.does the neutral light come on? what year bike
Starters, sheesh, why? You already know the starter won't start because original post said not even a sound. No relay click means nothing is going to go to the starter.
Okay, maybe you could shuffle the relays around and see what happens. That's free and easy. Sorry, I don't know where the relays are on a Blast.
Barbie buell,Welcome to the Forum,Don't know which bike you have so Basic areas first.I'm Assuming that the Bike was Running Fine and Then this happened. First if the bike does nothing,Check the Start/Kill switch when you turn it on the Yellow Engine[fuel injection]Light should come on for 4 seconds AND will make a small humming type sound. After it goes off when you touch the Start Button if nothing Happens then some of these [ideas] will get to the right area for Troubleshooting your bike! Now, what are the miles on the bike? Is the bike in neutral with the light showing it is,and clutch lever pulled all the way in? If so either the starter relay is stuck or the Starter button Could be in need of attention.Sometimes you have to push it Kinda Hard.BUT don't pound on it with some object. Start with the Battery Terminals to make sure they are Snug.Is the Bike all Stock? The Bikes shake a bit so sometimes a little tightening needs to be done.Once you have Tried these areas post up so someone can help you get you up and riding.Remember to be patient cause Bikes are Tempermental and Hope it's an easy fix. Also Have you gotten a 200CCA-Battery in the Bike.CCA-Means-Cold Cranking Amps, just because it's new you may need to take it out and have it LOAD TESTED not just checked for voltage when it's in the Bike.Make sure to do that if the other possible areas mentioned leave you scratching your head.Take your time and you will get it.*Jimi
