windscreen over headlight question..

ive seen some people doing it, and it looks freaking sick.

i have a carbon fiber windscreen and i have HIDs on my bike. Have people had there windscreens melt from the heat from the HIDS??? if not please let me know.

No, it will not melt [smirk].

Most unscrew the 4 bolts, and lower the windscreen so only the upper holes in the screen are used on the lower position where the lower bolts used to thread in to the housing. Some drill new holes in the screen, some drill new holes on the housing and tap threads into them.
