wiring headlights from an s to an R

So I got a pig tail with yellow, white, and then two black? wires coming off at a y. Where do the two black? wires go? Are they both a ground?

So you wired b/b w/w y/o ? What setup will that give me Thirsty?

same as your Lightning, low beam and high beam...NOT both lights on at the same time. the connections I did were B/B, W/W, Y/Y, did not use the orange wire. although I did still change the pin and installed it in the connector to avoid having a dangling wire. the both headlight on mod did not work on my bike.

Got her all done and am pleased. I really like the look of my mutant. I wired it for low beam then both on with high. Thanks, your thread helped. I had planned on wiring them in relation to how they were to color, but would not have known what to do with the orange. Good now. Now I need to find some different mirrors, the stock ones are huge.

stock mirrors come in short and long stems for the R. there are a few choices out there to replace them with, try Speigler USA
