wont start???

So i put a new battery in. started but was rough. Than wouldn't start at all. What do you think? plugs? injectors clogged from old fuel?

Was it the same fuel from the fall??

Did u add any stabilizer? How long was that gas in there? I'm guessing if it started up for a minute and stopped, it very well may habe fouled the plugs. I'd start there.

Ok so I changed the plugs, and it won't idle, runs very rough, when I get to like 5k rpm, it looses all power. slows down than accelerates, untill it hits 5k than falls flat again. Surging if you will. What do you think? I'm guessing ignition. Where should I start?

Sounds like bad fuel.

Have you drained and replaced it yet?

I don't think it's fuel. last summer I took the bike on a canyon ride. stopped at the top. Then ten minutes later started to head back. When all of the sudden this problem started. It pulls strong in mid rpms. Only idle, and high rpms are awful. So I don't think it's fuel because it started acting up when there was new fuel in it(last summer), and it wouldn't run well in mid rpm if the fuel was bad.

Could it be the TPS needs adjusted?

May have an intake leak. Easy to check by spraying Carb cleaner around the seals while the bike is idling - if it's revs shoot up in response, you need new ones.

I'd start with a tps reset if you have the stuff to do it.
