@maronz. The real question is why were you taking her straight back to the garage after you got her off the truck for the first time [smirk]

That's my favorite story so far. instantly i am sure people were judging you thinking you would kill yourself when you rode it.

I was jumping more railroad tracks the other day and landed weird on one. Front end responded strangely so when i landed my wheel was turned. Started to get tank slappers and then the front wheel actually skidded about 6 inches to the side. It was a good ride.

Gave out rides to girls that were outside the bar.[up] then at the end of the night stall out in front of everyone....03's have the kickstand switch...[down]

Shit, if I did that trying to avoid a bush at 6 mph, think what would have happened to me at 40 trying to avoid a car. I didn't have a permit yet so I couldn't take it out legally. Didn't stop me the next day though after I got my helmet.

Glad you liked the story. My leg certainly didn't!!!! My roommate has an R6 and was rolling on the ground laughing his ass off while I'm rushing to turn the bike off. He took a pic I'm not proud of but at least I got the first spill out of the way and it was on grass so no harm to the bike.

Hey, I've managed almost 3 months now and the worst thing I've done so far is rack my balls on the air box after killing it at a stop sign. That was even more embarrasing cause I was in a lot of pain and had to pull of to the curb. People in their cars that were passing by were staring with a smirk cause they knew what had happened.

Was going 105mph for 20 mins then went into some twisties and started drifting. Then finally noticed that i had a flat tire....I only had the bike a week so glad i didnt kill myself.

@maronz - definitely love the stories. Glad that you were ok and that the bike wasn't harmed. haha i would love to see that picture...you should post it! [up]

road with my kickstand down. i didn't know until i started to make a left hand turn and started to shot sparks

I'll have to see if my roommate has it still. He blackmailed me with our car forum trying to post it up on there so the guys there would get a kick out of it thinking I'm gonna kill myself soon.

Rode with no shirt, shorts, flip flops, and no helmet to go wash it off after it rained on us in PCB! It felt good but damn it was stupid! Wet roads+no gear= Danger, Danger!!!!

@ squidbuellie road with my kickstand down. i didn't know until i started to make a left hand turn and started to shot sparks
i thought it was rock pile road mine was shure you can take my bike for a ride around the block then the dude wrecked my bike (not squidbuellie some a**hole)

Bought my Buell in Salem OR and rode her home (no trailer) 250 miles to Seattle. First time on a street fighter i used to ride Harleys. My right hand was "buzzy" for two days. A month later rode around Mt. Rainier the road was so rough i must have come out of the seat at least three times. So for me i guess it is picking stupid routes.

Just this morning, got off the Uly to go to work instead of just continuing down the road on a fine day to ride.
