I know EBR is busy at the moment but if harley shot down the turbo XB after most of the development work was done it would be possible to make a retrofit kit for our bikes. It would be pricy but wouldnt it be fun to have 150HP.

I would totally buy one. However it would kinda suck for anyone with +04 since we don't have the holes running up through the frame like the '03's do.

It would be awesome to have that kinda power, but on the flip side, for us younger guys it would suck for insurance. I was planning on doing it to mine eventually, and rebuild and beef up the motor but can't do that anymore.

there is several people that has done the turbo on buells xb, some videos of them on here and on youtube.
my 2005 still has the hole through the frame/fueltank, think they changed it in 2007 maybe 2006.

Do you mean if they were offered new? Otherwise how would an insurance company know if you retrofitted a turbo to your bike?

The 04's also have the hole in the frame

'06 they welded over the hole and went to the zero-resistance airbox design with the little grater on the front of it and different parts under the cover
