Would the 1125 upper fairing fit on the XB12R?? does anyone know?? I was a mc mech before I started my current job, so after about 5 years of being out of actuallly turning wrenches I am a little out of the loop on what works.

I have seen people do it but I do not know if it is a direct bolt up or if you have to do some kind of modding to make it work.

I dont just want to throw it on there with some southern enginnering and not know about how it work on the electrical side. Also kind of curious about the instrument cluster and if there are any othe options there.

as far as the insturment panel you would have to do something custom because the 1125 insturment cluster will not work on a xb.

Is there anything aftermarket out there at all?? It seems like you can find almost anything for Buell but getting a little worried since they shut down and everyone else stopping production on aftermarket parts.

I have been curious about this also. Could it be done by swapping out the fairing support bracket? The headlights use different bulbs, but thats just a simple cut and splice.

you could try mounting the 1125 fairing support bracket on the XB mounts... if that doesnt fit, maybe saw the mount from the XBR fairing bracket and weld it onto the 1125R one, then the instrument cluster issue is fixed

the 18 grand tack is a lill excessive for the buells. that looks sick i would love to look at that every time i went to shift or saw the po po and did a lill speed check

plus Buell-Parts.com mission is to help to keep the produced Buell motorcycles running and to develop parts and technologies for these bikes. As stated in the press, buell-parts.com is working on parts and conversionkits to convert Buell 1125 R and CR into the Typhon optic. There will be 3 basekits, Kit 1 will include the parts for the front with lamp, covers, triples and the Motogadget Pro cockpit!

Someone on here just put a new lever on their bike with a radial master cylinder and was having clearance issues with the fairing. They had someone make some simple brackets that moved the fairing forward about 3/4 of an inch. You could have a similar bracket made and then just sort out all of the wiring.

I'd personally like to see more 1125Rs with firebolt fairings.
