Hi,

I am looking for a XB9R/XB12R front fairing stay. Broken is OK as long as both the top and bottom ears are good on at least one side.

I should have bought one a couple of years ago while Buell was still in business. I see the retail price of a new one has gone from around $125 to $225.

I am hoping to use it as a guide to build a new aluminum stay.

Cheaper is better, as I am in Canada, so shipping is going to be $$, and in the end the stay is probably going to end up in the parts pile.

If anyone has one they want to get rid of, please post here or shoot me a P.M.

Thanks

Rick

I have been avoiding buying a new one because I think there is only about a 25% chance that I'll end up actually using the Buell stay. I am fitting a Firebolt fairing on a project bike, so my thought has always been to try and find a stock stay for cheap, and then use it as a guide to build a custom one for my application.

Thanks for the leads though.

Rick

well if you still want a broken one, i it i could let mine go. 3 ears are intact. the left upper is broke. i still have the pieces. i thought about fixing it one day but welding magnesium back together is tricky.
