Looking to buy my first buell!! Haven't been able to find any around close enough to look at.. Especially with the current weather here in the Midwest. Looking for a 04-newer lightning 1200.. Probably be nice to get a xb12ss model due to the fact I'm between 6' and 6'2" depending on which local gas station I'm in. But any of the three modelsbid love to look into.. Xb12s xb12ss or xb12scg.. I'm located in south central Indiana a few miles south of Bloomington Indiana. The closer the better. Thank you for any help!!

I'm about 6'3" and 200lbs depending on how many beers I've had.
I've had a Scg (I looked too big on it, but it was super fun and flickable), S (I fit much better, but the rear seat wasn't big enough), and Ss (loved it, loved it, loved it, and regret the sale[sad]).
Plan on adding Uly pegs, and RC bars to any of them[up] And changing/painting the plastics or wheels is very easy.

I have an 03 XB9S with SCG suspension...... but it has all the updated 04+ stuff.
But at 6'2", you might be a tad too large

08herobolt- someone else in here told me to use that and it didn't seem to bring up anything new haha I dunno if no one is selling right now or what but I couldn't find anything on there!! Thank you for the help though!!
Xlxb-- I texted the fella that owns that and it has a big dent in the right side frame where his gf knocked it over.. I'm assuming if insurance seen it they would have totaled it.. I'm not sure though.. Figured if it broke the mirror off and dented the frame and pipes it might have more damage.. Thank you though!!! Like how everyone is helpful here!!

don't know if you found what you're looking for but i have a very late 2008 lightning Ss long in valencia orange krate transluscent. sold new at White's H-D/Buell in Lebanon, PA has 1960 miles on it. absolutely positively flawless in all regards. options included factory RSS, factory hand guards, volt gauge, heated grips. on original tires....perfect pampered never been in rain or even washed bike. i'm in southern PA and would consider selling it but i want top dollar for it because of what it is.

Eyes- thanks for the link.. Texted the guy and its gone.. Sweet look to it though thank you..
D-flack- I'd rather have a 12s I think.. Its probably more of a mental thing for me chase either is going to work for what I want but I think unless I find a really sweet looking 9 or a great deal I'd stick with the 12..
