did the ebr rotor upgrade. it started up fine for a few seconds than f@&%en died. and now it wont start. seems to been draining the battery too much check over the bike and cant find anything wrong. cant be the battery cause it starts up all of the rest of the bike but not this one f@#% $hit one thing after another......

Did you take anything apart when you did the rotor upgrade? Disconnect the battery maybe?

Does it crank over normally?

nope just disconnect the stator

what do you mean by starts up the rest of the bike? the lights and clusters all work? Even a weak battery will do that.
How does it crank when you hit the starter? does it struggle? If you have a weak battery, you wont have enough juice to start the bike.
Try charging/ replacing the battery first

Rip it apart again, see what the stator looks like. Possible it got damaged during re-install, or after initial start.

When I first commented on this, I thought you were talking the brake rotor. lol [hangs head]

never mind found the problem. to embarrass to say, i guess we have are brain farts after a long 14 hr day of hard labor and wanted the bike up running without no sleep. not a good idea.

Stator cover was installed incorrectly and not allowing the crankshaft to rotate. Not sure how this was possible but being my own mechanic over 25years and building harlies never seen this being possible WTF thought i sezed my motor and took me three hrs and several pry bars to remove the cover. Note to self sleep first then work on the bike
