Hi,
I am looking for a breather kit for my 2002 X1. I have a Forcewinder air intake and there is already a L-shaped pipe mounted om the breather outlets, going to a hose out near the sidestand. What I want to do is mounting 1 hose on each rocker cover, routing each hose to a T, then routing 1 hose from T to a catch can.

My question is: Will these banjo bolt kits fit my bike? I find them for Sportsters and big twins. Are the treads in my rocker covers the same as the other motors?

Thanks,
Lars Petter

Hey Lars-

The best route to go is blocking those breather holes and getting a set of XB rocker boxes-

This way you go from a 3 piece design to a 2 piece eliminating a gasket and you get rid of the old pain in the butt umbrella valves and go to true PCV valves. Then run these to a catch can. It works much better.

You seem to be pretty handy with modifying/machining stuff so maybe make something like the Vance & Hines Naked VO2. Only available for the HD touring bikes but it vents the excess gases/oil back into the intake so it can just get burned off and spit out the exhaust. Not sure if that small of a amount of oil would cause any issue getting burned off but it would be so much cleaner. Just a thought, feel free to tell me if it was a stupid one lol.
