I have been tweeking and playing with my ecmspy and have not been able to get my bike to run the way it should. I have a forcewinder/ vance and hines exh. My stock maps look horrible and even with tuning it it still does not want to cooperate. Does anyone have a good set up that I could at least start with.

Race map should run pretty damn decent with that set up. Pm me your email and I can set you up.

Sorry to hijack your post but I have searched the forums ( hard to do on ur phone BTW) which two pins do I short to get my check engine codes?

Well then u can probable answer another question for me. I have a mostly stock 99 x1. I was interested in getting ecmspy. I do have a stutter at 3k Roman. Is it worth the money for me to buy a ecmspy and the cable or should I wait untilled I run out of other things to do on the bike.

You'll need it sooner or later. It's a great tool if you get familiar with it.

I've got an 02 X1 with nothing but a filter. Anyone want to share a race map ee-prom? e-mail to [email protected] please. :)

I've got a race tune computer, but the previous owner has it all jacked up and the bike runs horrible. Looking to start from scratch. It's got a really lean condition from 3k-5k.

Thanks

Woo, two more!

Check your plugs, mine were horribly fouled.

Check the engine temp sensor, mine was stuck at 26 degrees...

ee-prom data not compatible with my computer.

Is there a different set for 02? All I typically locate is the 99-01.

OK so pros and cons to ditching my stock ecm for a race one? And NW I removed the CF cover on my tank cause I was painting the bike and found out why it was on there. [sad]
I will have to upload more pics.

No benefit of having the race ecm if you have ecmspy and load the race maps on it. I have a race ecm sitting on my parts shelf. Currently running my stocker with race maps and cant tell a difference.

Uh oh... Let me know if you need one. I have a cf one and a white one I might part with.

I have had great plans for the bike. But getting my wife to let me spend any money is the tough part. Ill work on her. :D I have a list of parts I want/need and I just added it.

Sorry for no introduction. This is my first buell and first air cooled bike. I have a long history of riding and racing both street and dirt. I raced for 7 years with WERA and CCS. then tried my hand at GNCC. Very rough on the body. Anyway I decided it was time to back it down a notch and get a rider friendly bike. Anyway that's me boom.
