x1 turning

The turning on my bike is horrible. I have to do a 10 point turn to get out of my driveway. And I either hit the horn or starter. Is this an x1 problem or a bad setup from the previous owner? Thanks for any input.

Certainly the XB has the largest turning radius of any bike I've owned. It was also noted in many of the bike reviews that got written on the bikes back in the day. I believe the issue got resolved somewhat on the '08+ models with revised stop locations(?).

If you believe your turning radius is exceptionally large, check that the wiring harness didn't get routed incorrectly by the PO, that the handlebars are set-up correctly, and that nothing impedes the trippl-tree from hitting the stops.

That's the problem. It doesn't hit the stops the bars hit the tank. Which leads me to believe it may be somthing the previous owner did.
