X1 with new vrod headlight

I finally got my new and last headlight setup. I really love the way it compliments the stance of the bike. I am still planning to make a new dash for the gauges to make them more compact and to make a small fairing to tidy up the front end.

So here is the finished setup for those that arent on badweb. Custom made gauge dashboard, cowl and clamps.

What did you make the dash out of? How do you hook it to the bike? I like them side by side.

Its from an old wind screen that I cut down which I believe is made from lexan. To mount it I used a leftover fork clamps and made the bars that hold the screen out of 16 gauge steel. I am still planning to paint the mounts, and screws all black to not stand out so much.

Just finished mine, but can't figure out how to post pics.
I mounted mine with billet brackets instead of the standard v-rod mount.
Custom gauge mount, and need to do some kind of flyscreen like yours.

NewmanS3- I use photobucket to upload the pics and then you can use the "Links to share this photo" section and copy/paste the "IMG" code into the forum box. Photobucket creates extra code so all you want is the two and everything in between.

That vrod light looks good. Even the fatbob double light would look good.

Never used photobucket. Will give it a shot tomorrow. But if you click on my profile name and pick "find images" you can see it so far.

Your bike looks nice. I feel like the headlight needs to be just a little bit lower, but that's just my preference.

Thanks. Yeah, just have it up that high for now because it makes the gauges look less obnoxious.
I'm gonna lower it when I make the flyscreen.
