i'm with dave, i've been running LED's in my dash for at least 2 yrs. i got mine from autolumnation.com, they also have many different colors. they also have regular incandesant bulbs for our dashboards as well.

I like the LEDs behind the stock faceplate. I haven't tried them behind the new plastic XBdashboards face though. But since I switched back to stock faceplate from myxbdashoard, my face now lights up brighter and yellow which I think is really cool.

I just recieved my faceplate from XBDashboards, 4 days from France to my door, can't beat that, I know I ordered earlier than that, but Andre was on Vacation and he e-mailed me and said as much, told me he would ship out on the 12th, sent some nice pics of them being made also. Dam shame I have to go back to work tomm. and Thurs. but, Friday it is on

Been to the web site- Lots and lots of LED's but for the life of me I can't find the ones I think we need.
Anyone got a link to the actual page or a bulb p/n?

Friday afternoon I will have all the info you need including pics, if it all works together, without extra fabbing, such as sanding them down to fit, but if it don't work, I don't want to be accused of spreading wives tales and false information again

^^ I'm just wanting the p/n for what JOEL9 ordered but I guess I can wait and see what you stumbled across.

Also, you guys that have done this. Is this accurate? 2 red, 2 green, 3 white and 1 blue (or white if blue is not available)?

There are several styles there on that site for the T3, I can't figure out what is different about them. I'm thinking of trying red LEDs instead of white.

yea, the bulbs look different but have the same #'s. i took a shot in the dark and picked (the $3.49 ones) one that looked the same and they worked. the bulbs that are $1.49 are regular incandesant bulbs (like stock) even though they say LED.

Are they really flat on top? The ASB LEDs are rounded, which is probably why there's a hot spot.

Welp, my luck reared it's ugly head again last night, front wheel bearings went out last night on the way home from a 12 hour shift at work, so it will be a day or so, for the LED test

I have them installed now, did it after the bearings, they fit perfectly, less than 1mm gap between them and the teats of the gauge face with no extra work, waiting until dark to see how it is going to look

here it is,

Not really impressed, serious hotspots, visible in the daylight, and not very good dispersal at night, but they did fit without modification, I am going to get in touch with Andre at XBDashboards and see if he can offer any suggestions

I think the incandescent colored bulbs are the way to go instead of directional led bulbs even if they are smd bulbs and are supposed to have a wider light spread from regular leds the incandescent color bulbs will do the job better IMO.
