Ordered the fuel pump/regulator rebuild kit as recommended by John, (aka lunatic fringe). Kit appears to be of good quality but included a 12-Inch Convoluted fuel hose instead of the 6-Inch hose that is on the assembly. Have contacted the seller and asked if I can exchange it for the correct hose, waiting his response.
Bike has 38K and was shocked at how dirty the filter sock was. No light passed through even when holding it next to a bright light. Pressure filter had moderate resistance when blowing air through it. Replaced it with a NAPA Gold, (re-branded Wix) PN-3095.
Would like to replace the sealing sleeves on the HP filter. The old ones are serviceable but would like to start fresh. They're probably cut from fuel hose but the hose will have to be ethanol resistant. Anyone have a part number for something I can use?
