XB mirror options, aftermarket?

Without doing bar-end style mirrors, are there any other mirrors available that have the same rear viewing/mounting style as the factory ones?

There are few on ebay that might fit the bill. I just recently put on the 1125r mirrors, but as others have posted - the adjustment range on those isn't big enough to allow a good field of view on the xbr. I think they are okay - mostly got them for the added turn signals. They are probably the most expensive option, especially new - unless you luck out and get them used.

Aprilia Tuono mirrors are a direct replacement. Same threads, just unscrew the lollipops and thread these on.

Go to eBay and type Buell mirrors into the search. You'll get a few hundred results, all different types and styles.

I put a set of these on mine and love the way they look. The only thing I had to do is modify the bolts it came with as they were too long. I had to grind down about 10cm off each bolt to get them to fit. Look fantastic though.

Here's the thread that made my mind up that these were the mirrors I wanted. Some good pics. The ones in the thread are the real Rizomas but I think the ones I got look just as good.

EDIT- Sorry, just noticed this was posted in the Firebolt section. I'm so sorry. I usually just coast to the bottom and check the most recent threads section. I'll see if they offer something like those two in a firebolt configuration.

If you do end up wanting to go CRG bar ends, I do have a pair that I took off when I went with mine that I'll sell you.

True. Didn't cycle through the pics to see those. It's harder finding firebolt mirrors than I thought.

Yeah, I can't find any direct bolt on mirrors for the XBs, the 1125s are nice but they don't have the viewing capability like factory due to the angle..

you just need a set with 10mm adapters to mount 'em, most ebay mirrors offer adapters, try amazon as well...adapters are roughly 5 bucks each if you have to buy separately from the mirrors

I am happy with the quality of mine. Sturdy and solid feeling, from Demons Cycle 35 bucks with adapters. Not quite as much mirror as stock, but pretty good width.

I'm confused, are you looking for mirrors for a firebolt(R) or lightning(S)?
