XB Rearsets

I want to get an idea of how many members would be interested in a set of rearsets and in what color? It will take a few weeks to get the design done and machined and once I have a set in hand I will post pics of them installed and by themselves, I just need a pretty firm number so I know how many to order. The prices will be really competitive I'm sure. I will post up prices as soon as I have a confirmed price.

Are they going to be standard peg placement or are they adjustable? Do you have any pictures you can share with us? I like your machine work, so I'm sure these will be high quality.

I see colby has nothing to do at work this morning haha. yeh man I know you would be interested. levi, the peg placement will be standard until we design the adjustable so now that you got me thinking about this maybe I could make one set that is universal peg placemtent i.e. one that hase multiple locations to mount your pegs which would depend on rider preference. by adjustable do you mean farther back or further down? I won't have any pics until the first set is machined so I will post up some pics once a set is finished.

I havent really liked any of the current rearsets on the market, maybe your design will change that. The cost to benefit ratio is too high on rearsets for these bikes. Still interested to see your design though.

well so you guys know I myself am a very cost effective kinda guy. I can't justify paying someone 650-1000 dollars for something that really should cost about 250 or 300 so are goal in machining these parts and then retailing them is to keep the cost as low as possible. I will get started on these as soon as I get home sunday or monday since I will be out of town and I will keep you guys updated. any other ideas in what you would like incorporated into the rearsets please post them as this will help me design the rearsets to what everyone is looking for.

ME and My big flippers would be interested!!!!

As it is. I look like a bear humping a foot ball on the bike, but it would be nice to be able to adjust foot position without spending 7 to 9 hundred bucks

Yeah I agree I have giant swim fins for feet and have actually been researching rearset's these past few weeks hoping to fit a little better on my Buell, depending on the price I might be interested and I have been looking for them in black

awesome well the more interest the better. I appreciate all your guys input. now one other question,do you guys want something that is similar in design to the stock mounting as far as looks are concerned or something you definitely can tell is aftermarket.

Yeah that's why I asked about adjustability. Really I just need them lower than stock.
I wear a size 14 shoe like some of the other guys here and I'm 6'4" so a wee bit of knee room on the frame would be keen.

Levi to help for now I HIGHLY reccomend Puzzled he has Pirate 360 adjustables for sale!!! I am 6'6" with a 14/15 and have a set and my knee's actually fit in the pocket and are real comfortable!!!! If I buy rearset's though I need them to set back so my foot doesnt keep trying to shift my kickstand like it did the whole way to work!!!! Thats annoying when you cant figure out why it wont shift only to look down and see your foot under the kick stand!!!

the rearsets what ever design we come up with will have an adjustable shifter as well with it and foot brake lever thats adjustable as well I will be starting to design these tomorrow.
