xb12r paint job

Hi, anyone got a matt black/satin black xb12r with polished frame and wheels? I am in the UK and interested in any mean looking mods or paint jobs - all suggestions and pics would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

I would guess the first one is chrome!

My show truck has double polished show shine billet wheels and still doesn't shine that much. Plus polished aluminum has more of a white shine in it versus the mirror finish. It may still shine like hell but will never shine like chrome unless never used and taken hundreds of hours to do.

Chrome for the first one I say, not sure on the second one it may be polished.

They suck to clean. But I think its worth it, I havent seen another one with chromed wheels.

polishing may be a pain in the *** but if you want to be different you need to put in a bit of an effort in my opinion thanks for the pic 03firebolt9r!

Bike before painting the frame...

then a guy i work with painted the frame and swing arm for me... used the factory buell yellow it has a white pearl in it. I am waiting on plastics to get painted they are going to be black with yellow graphics and yellow stripe kinda cafe racer styel...

yes it was taken in the garage in bad lighting and with my phone....Im just going for something different. Sense Buell went out there have been more and more Buells around Appleton, Wi. Which is good but I do not want one like the one down the street like all the jap bikes around! But there is alot more to be done the primary cover needs to come off and go black... black foot pegs, black shorty levers, the headers are wrapped black and have a right side air scoop so i hope all the black offsets the yellow frame and swing arm
