It looks pretty sweet, cant wait to see the final pictures. Im pretty sure you said that you were going to have black plastics, you could def put some Steelers emblems on it and be a hit in Pittsburgh.

my last 3 ninjas had polished frames,they looked like chrome and were eazy to take care of with mothers and keeping it inside all the time.i got sick of keeping the chrome frame and wheels clean so when i god my xb12r i painted the frame/wheels gloss black,base/clear so i just wax it when i wax the bike.
lefox is the orange bikes exhaust coated or chrome? i like the whees too,any more picts?

jeremy some black forks and triples will look so much better with that yellow frame and black plastics def paint the primary cover to.. i think it will look sick finished!

Im digging both the yellow cafe racer style, the gloss black, and the polished frames. Man!!! What to do??? I cant come up with a scheme to save my life!!!

i just painted the forks and pipe on mine black as a test to see if it would be too much black,i still cant decide,id like to do something different with my wheels while the rubbers off and its not being used for a few months.

ya.... thanks everyone for the input! I was debating on doing the forks and triples black...... I will prob do them after i get the plastics back they are almost finished by the weekend im hoping to have it the rest of the way together!! Anyone have an input on painting the pipe black too?????? Thanks all i like the black bike Chevnut....Im making a custom timing cover at work out of aluminum along with axle sliders and getting them hard coated and will be black can that side cover come off the bike with out the headers coming off? I would like to do that black also???

Hey guys, what sort of paint are you guys using for the fairings and plastic pieces? Im possibly purchasing a xb12r and really like the white but its the black/red colorway.

Krylon Fusion, Made for Plastic. It bends with the plastic to eliminate cracking.
Ive seen some guys do the truck bed liner thing, and Ill have u know it looks sick!!! Wish I would have done my flat black with bed liner, never worry about chipping scratching etc....
