XB12R with Clip-ons

Has anyone ever tried aftermarket clip-ons on their Firebolt? I saw a pic of one once and it had the stock upper clamp but the ends were shaved down. I know I want clip-ons but I wanna make sure I get the right size and brand. please post a pic if you have one.

your fairing doesnt have alot of clearance for lower bars, but you could trim alot of the fairing away. I think I read the forks o.d. measures 43mm. check that obviously. might look at vortex. post some pics if you get it accomplished.

a few bolts that I have seen with clip-ons have the lightning upper triple. I think a company called woodcraft or something like that makes clip-on for the buell.

yeah, make sure your brake master can slide under your stock upper if you use it.
