XB12s 2008 Dipstick

Hi,
(Before you start with the dipstick thread history ... I've read all of em before posting )

I need a dipstick (or simple filler plug) for the XB12s 2008
What would be compatible oil filler plug ? (I could live without the dipstick)
I was not able to find info about the thread size and pattern ... does anyone have specs ?

I did a lot of research and most of the aftermarket ones are discontinued/unavailable (Like the nice RIZOMA)

Looks like a M30 with a 1.5p thread ? or bigger ?

P.S. I've ordered a stock one but it will take a few days to arrive ... need to ride it meanwhile..

I was stupid enough to sit the dipstick (instead of securing it) on the hole after topping-off fluid .. forgot to screw it ... it is lost ... thankfully someone on the road noticed it before engine seized... :black_eyed:

Got the same order but seller on vacation and extra days for customs for me being... Canadian

What about one of those rubber like freeze plug thingies. (put plug in hole, then tighten bolt, and rubber expands) Would at least get got riding without a mess, as long as you know oil level is good
