Hi all,

Im new here so hello everyone. Hope you are all well.

So if you could bare with me while i try to explain. I have had my 2010 buellxb12s for maybe 2 years now. Ive always found it to run a little inconsistent around 3000rpm but I found i could live with this, then about 6 months ago I bout a EBR ECM for the Jardine. After installing it ran differently and better once i got going and flying through the gears.

So what I have noticed though is, It feels like the bike is gulping too much air or something in low rpm. For example, if i coast along the street at say 20mph with the clutch in and give the throttle a quick twist it kinda bogs down and sometimes feels like its about to cut out, a few seconds later the rpm with go back to normal.

Has anyone had this before?... Its plagued me for solo long. It used to do it before I had the EBR ECM but now its a lot worse, otherwise the bike seems fine.

Any similar experiances/advice would be much appreciated.

THANK YOU!!!!!! ALL!!!!!!!! :)..... ps, i love my buell.

Do you have ECMSPY? It could be that the bike is running a tad too rich or a tad too lean around that rpm range and throttle position. You can compare the two maps (stock and ebr) to see if at that rpm/tp you are now richer/leaner and manually bring the value back to where it was.

My bike kinda falls on its face a bit if I try to blip the throttle like the jap bikes but I don't consider it bad at all. I thought the ebr ECM was sapossed to fix or make better of those things? I plan on getting one this spring and hope its money well spent so I do not have to try and tune it myself.

Sounds same as my xb9 with a d&d, it was loping (sounded like a dead cylinder)at 2500 to 3000rpm with a race map, I programmed it with a map someone had for a Jardine/ K&N. The 3d view showed more fuel in a much broader range. It was running better but still had some lope, I tweaked it by adding more fuel, especially in the rear cylinder.
