His bike is a 2009 XB12Ss, so yes he has a Ss tail.

Do you know if he's modified the tail or risers in any way?
I've always been told that the die-cast aluminum ones were a big no no for the Ss...
 
I have a SS stock tail. I just make bigger holes in the risers. I LOOKS COOL!!

For me feels more sticky in the road as risers maker more lever in tail when you do curves.

Only increase ~ 2" seat heigh
