XB12XT Drive Belt ID

Hi Guys, I want to see if I can source belts locally in South Africa, without having to go the loooong and expensive HD route.

What is the easiest way of ID-ing my belt (size, teeth, etc). There are no marking on my belt to check.

It is an 08 XB12XT which I assume has a std set up.

wally: with exception of 2003 models....the width is all the same. count your belt teeth. that way you have precise sizing and can go shopping online. BDL and Panther are 2 aftermarket companies that have excellent belts at competitive prices but you must know your sizing to go shopping. your stock belt part # is: G0500.1AKD

The Uly belt is the same as a Ss belt, so anything with 135 teeth and 1 1/8 width will work.

My belt is still perfect, but you never know and I don't want to be stranded cause it takes 6-8 weeks to get stuff from the States!
