XB12XT Gearbox Output shaft oiler nipple mod !

Here's some before and after pics of the gearbox output shaft oiler/nipple installation.

Here's what it looks like with the little black cover off

and from another angle

Here's the nipple/disc installed...you can see a mark on it from where I tapped it in with a 3/4" socket....dont know how to avoid marking it !

and here what the original cover you've pulled off looks like

And here it is from the inside....notice the kind of metal plate at the back of it...this is why you're told to cut it in the centre and leverage a screwdriver or something in there as the plate stops you doing this anywhere but through the centre...

I still need to now drill the hole in the plastic sprocket cover....will be doing this shortly and will post a pic.

There one can barely glimpse ends of needle bearings recessed and running inside shaft that turns drive-belt; most visible 'round 3 & 7 o'clock in there.
This mod is to improve lubrication to those needle bearings.
Add lube with oil changes.
