I dropped in a set of XB9 pistons to the 12 andnow the idle is rought on startup. had it running good at idle with the original pistons but now rought till it warms up a bit wether its 40 out or 80. thinking it needsa litl change in the cold start or maby a change in advancing the idle map timing. I saw a map from Gbaylis but cant find it now.

I'm not an expert in building engines, but I know that by using the xb9 pistons, you will increase the compression ratio. When you do that, you will need to adjust the timing.

Timing is more than likely needed to be adjusted - a tune over all is needed as well for longevity (IMO).

Planing to do a good mapping for AFR but need somthong to start with for the timing at idle. maby 5 to 7 points in the idle area? and/or increase the fuel?
