Comming into work this morning my bike (xb9sx 05) started to run really rough after about 20 miles.

When putting on the throttle I can't get the bike to do more then 40-50mph. The engine sounds like its running on one cylinder and it idles at about 500-700rpm.

The weather conditions are wet so my first thought was water in the spark plugs, but it seems too consistant to be that, and its not really that wet.

I stopped the bike and openend the throttle to try and dry it out but the engine just bogs down

my question is if the spark plugs are fine what could this be?

I had a service about 1500 miles ago the bike has done about 18k

does this sound like it could be down to a tps reset?

no check engine light, but the light did come on a couple of weeks ago so I took it in to be checked. There was nothing wrong, no error reading from the diagnostics test. do you think it could be related?

The light came on and went off after 20 seconds twice on a 30 mile ride

yup, same thing happened to me. when it ran like crap the light was on. coupla times the light would go out and i would have lots of power. turned out to be a fouled plug. easy to check and see if this is your problem.
