XB9R Tires

I just got a 2005 XB9R and it needs new tires. What are your favorite tires. I am looking for somthing that is good wet and maybe a little off road. I live in Alaska and the roads are terible.

Normally my first answer is Michelin Pilot Road or Pilot Road 2 for good general purpose riding... but in your case I might consider a Pirelli Scorpion... it's more of a Dual Sport tire than a street tire but I think with the roads you guys have up there.. you'll be better off than having a straight street tire..

I was thinking about Dunlop D616. Some reviews say they are excelent in wet and good when their is some loose gravel on the road. Has anyone tried them.

I'm going with Metzler M3's next time around.
