XB9R tranny ?

Will XB12R tranny parts interchange with XB9R?

I'm not saying a definitive yes, but the Gear ratios, 1st - 5th, are all the same for an XB12 & an XB9, so it would SEEM to be a yes.

1st - 2.648
2nd - 1.892
3rd - 1.407
4th - 1.166
5th - 1.000

thanks for the info. I bought 2003 XB9R. The kid I bought it from said the bike fell over in the drive way, but when he drove it home it was stuck in 5 gear. So when I pick it up it was still stuck in 5th gear. And I asked a couple people and they think one of the shifting forks could be bent. So I came across XB12R tranny parts and I'm going to try to fix it.
