First post. Great site and good information. Just bought an 03 xb9s earlier this year and wish i woul;d have bought one years ago! this thing is a blast. Especially around town. Wheelies all day not to fast but plenty of torque. The just plain most fun riding bike ive been on and i've own a lot of bikes and ridden close to 60 different bikes. From a Boss Hoss to turbo gsxr and this little thing puts a smile on mu face every time i ride it! Just got back from riding the Dragon down in NC and Tennessee. And I must Tell EVERYONE you have to go there!!! All the roads down there are FXXXing unreal! Hwy19, Hwy129(the Dragon), hwy28 leaving the dragon. Wayah rd. Rivers waterfalls curves no gavel and smooth sailing everywhere you go. Blueridge mountain parkway the Charahoola Skyway 6000ft up! unreal. I wouldn't have wanted any other bike out there ecxept for maybe a motard bike. Can't wait to go back! I have a few other cool and fun rides as well. Me and a friend just finished up a completely scratch built turbo system for my Vrod 155rwhp. But i honestly ride the buell more. I;ve already convinced a buddy of mine to buy an 05 12s. Just thought i'd share my opinion on these bikes. But the way i got it for 2700 with 8k miles on it and a brand new dunlop 208 on the back! Can't beat that. My business partner also has an 06 xb12R firbolt and loves it althogh i much prefer the lightnings. Stipped down they are one of the toughest looking muscle bikes ive ever seen and extremely reasonable pricing for what you get out of them. I get more people looking at my buell with motobars on it and a shaved plate locator than my trickd out vrod. Kinda dissappointing but whatever. well anyways cheers to buells! vrod pic
