( Base gaskets, pushrod tubes, hydraulic lifters, rocker box gaskets, spark plugs, new fan. Mechanic said cylinders and rings looked great. Amsoil and WIX filter, brake fluid flush)
25,xxx miles on her.
Powder coated blacks parts:
Both rims, seat rails, tail section, catch can, headlight modulators.
I've owned this bike since early 2007, she was all stock when I bought her (and black).
I added the low suspension from an SCG as originally she was just an XB9S. Up until this last oil change, I've only ran synthetic Mobil 1 V-twin (tried amsoil this time and seems just fine). Comes with an extra HD battery and tank bag. I hate to sell her but she sits too much now. I'll ride her to work every other week when on call and that's about it besides the occasional store trip. I bought an enduro a while back and spend most of my time on it (really getting into off-road)
Bike always sits and idles for a few minutes before touching throttle (I'm very anal on maintenance and letting it warm up before taking off). I do not do stunts and after having kids I don't ride very hard. Since I've owned her, she's fallen over in a parking lot and my garage (both not moving). Only time I've wrecked on the road I was extremely lucky and hit a muddy ditch (no damage besides pride). Previous owner knocked it over and put a small dent in frame but puck covered it up just fine. (I did not know this until changing pucks)
She starts and runs beautifully. Sounds like a beast. I'm probably forgetting some mods as its all been done over the years. I try to be upfront and honest, I'm not going to BS you about the bike in any way, she is not mint, but she's in good shape and runs great. I do not need to sell her so nothing under $4,500 accepted.
Choice of exhaust with bike, race pipe that is on it now (but has a hidden hole in outlet from who knows what?!?) or original drummer that was re-packed a few years ago.
(Or brand new Torque Hammer for extra cash)
Please do not waste my time and I will not waste your time. Serious buyers only.
For additional costs I do have extras such as T-Rex stands, single bike ramp, LSL stabilizer (but hits fender since putting low suspension on) extra swing arm, extra fuel pump, new Zepto signals, old headlight housing, extra amsoil/ filter, extra clutch cable, misc box of stuff, brand new Torque Hammer exhaust, etc...
Test ride with cash in my hands, clear Texas title ready to be signed over.
Let me know if you have any questions. Freshly washed and located in Rowlett, TX.
Will not sell to someone who I feel will treat her poorly.
Thank you!
-Robert
